What is ArtPees Magazine?

ArtPees Volumes are magazines which features various arts and artists, for the purpose of promoting art as a forum and a culture. Founded and published by Sebastian Books for ArtPees, its first edition was released in July 2014 followed by its second edition on August 30, 2015.

Funded by various Sponsors, both editions were printed and published as Swiss Editions, though the texts are in the English language, highlighting the UK Publishing House as having its registered presence in Switzerland.

The ArtPees Volumes which are retailed at twenty Swiss Francs, fourteen Great Britain Pounds and twenty US Dollars are non-profit publications, in which its proceeds are invested in its follow-up edition.

Heading each edition of the magazines, is owner of ArtPees and Artist Tina Sebàs. Babeesan Poopalasingam who joined the team of ArtPees Artists, in 2014, has been featured in both editions along with his work.

ArtPees Volume 1 (Swiss Edition) is a published book of art under the UK ISBN No. 978 0 9559662 7 9 and features Hope Sebastian (now Tina Sebàs) as its leading artist, along with artist Babeesan Poopalasingam, Painter Pia Mangold, Artist Olivia Gray and Body Painter Ala Lutz.

The cover of ArtPees Volume 1 (APV1) features a piece titled Winter Proof by Tina Sebàs and consist of other drawn pieces, by her, of known celebrities such as Al Pacino, Angelina Jolie, Robert De Niro, 50 Cent, Jay Z, Sade, Nelson Mandela and Roger Federer. Artist Babeesan Poopalasingam contributed three pieces to APV1, which included a portrait of singer Katy Perry.

APV1 features a Child Art Contribution category, in which a sketch of SpongeBob SquarePants was featured.  Also included in the first edition was an envelope titled Erotic Arts by ArtPees which offers a choice of optional viewing.

Unfortunately, the idea for Erotic Arts by ArtPees was dropped and not included in ArtPees Volume 2; the idea has been replaced with having publications of erotic arts publish in a separate magazine (ArtPees ErotiX).

ArtPees Volume 2 (APV2) bears the very same barcode as APV1, representing its follow-up edition.

APV2 features a portrait of super model Adriana Lima, drawn by Babeeesan Poopalasingam, as its cover image. And along with Tina Sebàs and Babeesan Poopalasingam, the second issue features child artist Jai Sebàs, Artist Daggi Berdicchia, Photographer Stefan Kolp and Culinary Artist Yvonne Donald.

Lead Artist, Tina Sebàs contributed pieces included Bob Marley, Will Smith, Kim Kardashian, Cheryl Cole, Taylor Swift, Snoop Dogg, Morgan Freeman, Bruno Mars, Brad Pitt, Beyonce Knowles and even a portrait of her husband, Author Ian T. Sebàs, who also contributed to the magazine, a written article on the subjects of art, abstract art, figurative art, pictorial art, culinary art and the art of writing.

Babeesan Poopalasingam pieces included actresses Penelope Cruz, Hansika Motwani, Tamannaah Bhatia, Natalie Portman and Freido Pinto. Photographer Stefan Kolp and his photographs of animals and Australian landscapes were featured as ‘Through the Lens’ and Culinary Artist Yvonne Donald and her edible replicas were featured as ‘Sweet Art’.

The ArtPees Magazine Volumes continue to have a worldwide, open invitation to artist of any genre and age.
